Meta Bliss 369 (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Vedic Starlight.

Information you provide

• Account information: your name, email and account preferences. Firebase Authentication manages your sign-in credentials. Passwords are not saved in reading drafts.
• Birth information: your date and time of birth, selected birth city, its coordinates and timezone, and other birth details you enter. These are needed to calculate and retain your chart. We do not request your current location.
• Reading context: the answers, priorities and questions you choose to provide, which may include personal or spiritual information. Only include details you are comfortable sharing for your reading.
• Affiliate information: referral attribution, commission and refund records, your PayPal payout email, payout requests and transfer references. Affiliates see their earnings without access to referred customers’ names, emails or birth details.
• Gift information: purchaser and recipient details, gift status and redemption records.
• Payment and support records: transaction references, amounts, payment status, information PayPal returns for reconciliation, and messages you send to support. We do not store full card details.

How we use information

We use your information to manage your account, calculate your chart, generate your personalised interpretation, process payments and gifts, deliver and retain your PDF, provide support, and investigate technical or payment problems.

Human review, improvement and research

Chart and reading data, the context you provide and feedback you share are also used for human review, service improvement and astrology research and development. This work helps us identify errors and refine how charts are interpreted and explained.

Mr Panday plans to develop research comparing report predictions with experiences reported over time, including where predictions do not match those experiences. This is a future research aim; it does not mean that the predictions in our reports have already been validated.

Human review may involve access to birth details, generated charts, interpretations and relevant feedback. If you have questions about research use or wish to request restrictions on the use of your information, contact us.

Providers that help deliver the service

• Google Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage and backend services.
• Google Maps Places processes birth-city searches and returns place details. Search text is sent to Google as you type.
• OpenAI receives the chart and reading context needed to generate the interpretation, including account and birth details included in that request.
• PayPal handles checkout and payment processing under its own privacy terms.
• Email services deliver reading PDFs and notifications, and handle support correspondence.

These providers may process data in countries outside South Africa. Their own terms and privacy notices also describe their handling of data.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

Authentication, account preferences and unfinished reading drafts use cookies or browser storage where needed. Drafts can remain on your device between visits. Signing out clears the active reading draft; clearing your browser’s site data also removes locally stored drafts.

Following affiliate links stores their referral codes in your browser without an automatic expiry. When you sign in or create a checkout, we save the first valid referral to your account so it remains linked until your first paid purchase. Once the server has accepted or rejected the codes, we clear them from the browser so they are not automatically reused for another account on the same device. This is separate from optional analytics. Clearing browser storage removes local codes; contact us about removing account attribution.

Optional Firebase analytics is enabled only when you accept it. It measures page visits and product events such as checkout. Technical logs used to operate and secure the service are separate from optional analytics.

Retention and security

The free birth-chart feature saves your latest birth details and calculated chart in your account, together with generation counters to prevent excessive use. Generating a replacement overwrites that free chart. Free calculations do not send a request to OpenAI or create a payment record; our chart review and research practices described above still apply.

Account records, completed readings and their calculation snapshots are retained to provide your reading history and downloads. Payment, audit and support records may need to be retained for accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion or information about a particular record’s retention.

Your readings are private to your account. Authorised access is also needed to provide support, review readings and carry out the improvement and research activities described above. PDF downloads use time-limited links. Keep downloaded PDFs and links private, especially on shared devices. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, including South Africa’s POPIA and the GDPR where it applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restrictions on the use of your information. You can update account details in your profile and change optional analytics above.

Send privacy requests to astrology@vedicstarlight.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before releasing or changing records.

Age and policy changes

The service is intended for adults as described in our Terms & Conditions. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was submitted inappropriately. We may update this policy and will show the revised date here.
